Gimme some canned bubbles!

I’ll never forget the day I tried Sofia for the first time. I had just finished a tango at Sofia Coppola’s wedding when we raised our glasses to the bride and groom. Sofia’s daddy, Mr. Francis F. Coppola, created it especially for her.

Ok, Ok, I didn’t go to Sofia Copploa’s wedding. I got my Sofia Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine at BevMo. I cannot confirm the wedding part, but Mr. Coppola did, in fact, create it for his daughter Sofia. Some may not know that he owns a few wineries in Northern California which include Rubicon Estate and Francis Ford Coppola winery. Rubicon Estate is a beautiful place to taste and visit and Francis Ford Coppola Winery is rumored to unveil itself in July.

Back to Sofia. I LOVE this product because sometimes I am feeling a little bit sparkly, but I don’t want to open an entire bottle of sparkling wine or champagne. One (6. 32 oz) can serves two small flutes or one hearty flute.

Every adorable pink metallic box contains 4 little cans, each with their own straw attached. These would have traded way better than juice boxes during recess.

Sofia 4 Pack Box

Quality & Taste: If I am going to open a bottle, I prefer very dry sparkling wines, Cava or Prosecco. This is a tad on the sweet side, but definitely tasty and refreshing. It is perfect for a picnic mimosa a little crisp bubbly by the pool or just a treat at home on the couch.  It is a fun conversation piece to bring to a casual party and at an average price tag of $12.99 per box of 4, it is a no-brainer.

This week, I invite you to raise a glass in celebration of anything whether it is simply getting through your work day or finally hitting the gym, and I will do the same. Cheers!

You are a woman completely in
line with my own tastes! Sometimes I’d like nothing better than to pop a little bubbly while reading The New York Tones on Sunday sitting in front if the fire but I hesitate cause I don’t want to waste the bottle. Now I can! sofia here I come.. Or better yet “mar-CIA”..I wish someone would make a bubbly and name it after me. Maybe I’ll copy Ron on this.

A very special person gifted me the Sofia Blanc de Blanc and St. Germain liqueur for my birthday. Who knew that Elder flowers (in the St. Germain) were so divine. Add a little shot with the sparkly Sofia Blanc de Blanc and it’s a great celebration…or a comfy way to end the day.
